Many homes in New Zealand suffer from lack of repairs and maintenance, leaving them cold, damp, and unhealthy. These are the homes of families in our community and we believe that helping to maintain and repair them is essential.
In the Bay of Plenty we estimate around 29,000 homes need improvements to become healthy, but many occupants are not in a position to address these issues.
The goal to make all homes in the Bay Of Plenty healthy is one so large that a single organisation alone can't address it. This is why 20 Degrees partners with community organisations that are already working alongside whānau in need, to maximise our impact.
Funding Partners
Our funding partners help keep us going! We have one of the largest collaborative funding efforts in our region’s history with more than $1.5 million per annum.
With an estimated 29,000 homes in need, a joint approach is is necessary to address the scale of intervention needed.
